A due anni dalla brutale uccisione dell’afroamericano George Floyd, soffocato da un agente a Minneapolis, Joe Biden ha firmato un ordine esecutivo che ordina alle agenzie federali di rivedere le prassi sull’uso della forza, vieta tattiche come la presa al collo (chokehold) e limita le perquisizioni senza avviso.

Il provvedimento crea anche un database nazionale per tracciare le cattive condotte dei poliziotti e restringe ulteriormente il trasferimento di equipaggiamento militare ai dipartimenti di polizia.
